Alisa Brown is a dedicated Support Coordinator and Psychosocial Recovery Coach at Holistic Recovery, where she has been a vital part of the team. With a Certificate IV in Community Services earned in 2019, Alisa embarked on her career in mental health, driven by a deep commitment to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
After years working in both Management Positions and Real Estate, her passion and the fire in her stomach was for the field of Mental Health.
Alisa’s journey in the mental health field began when she met Bhavin in 2019 while working in another role. Their professional connection laid the foundation for her current position at Holistic Recovery, where she applies her expertise in psychosocial recovery coaching to support individuals with psychosocial disabilities. Her role encompasses all activities outlined in Support Coordination, enriched with specialized mental health training to help participants build independence, inclusivity, and empowerment as they pursue their personal goals.
Outside of work, Alisa cherishes time spent with her children and grandchildren, enjoying the simple pleasures of family life. Her passion for health and wellness is evident in her active lifestyle, which includes years of competing in triathlons and half Ironman events. Currently, Alisa finds joy in her new companion, a German Shepherd Dog, with whom she enjoys long walks and runs. She continues to stay active with swimming and gym workouts, emphasizing self-care and maintaining her health.
